Final FlockNote for a while... Summer 2019 Young Adult News
This FlockNote will include the most up to date information for the Fatima young adult group for at least a month. So don't delete it! If you missed my announcement last week, I am starting an internship up in Nederland and my last day at Fatima is this Friday, May 17th! Please know that I have absolutely loved getting to be your FlockNote sender and coordinator of young adult activities! I know the Lord has born eternal fruit through this ministry and will continue to do so! Thank you for being such wonderful people to serve.
If you want to check out the job description or have someone in mind for the job, here's the announcement:
First announcement of the summer is that First Wednesday Adoration and Praise will continue! Thank you to all of you who came this past week! It was beautiful! If you want to know the details, dates, or invite people on facebook, here is the link:
Second, the main summer events are going to be consistent Thursday night hangouts. The locations will be different each Thursday night and Martha has offered to coordinate them! There will be food, drinks, and yard games! The purpose is to have a consistent night each week that people are hanging out - we know how crazy summers can get, so I'm sure people will be in and out, but we're hoping its an easy thing to remember on the nights people are free and want company! Martha's number is (843) 384-3547.
Third, if you're involved with West Denver 2:42 and missed the meeting this past Thursday night, there is going to be daily mass, a cookout, and time to hang every second Thursday of June, July, and August. Make sure to check the West Denver 2:42 FlockNote group for more details on where each night will be held.
Since a new person will be transitioning into helping with the young adult group, I kept the flyer simple this summer. Again, the main event is going to be these Thursday night hangouts!
We're hoping to start a summer GroupMe through Thursday nights to easily coordinate extra things like hiking, concerts, or other fun social stuff!
Speaking of extra activities - the group that normally meets for basketball on Mondays is meeting tomorrow night (Monday from 7-9PM) at the sand volleyball court at St. Joan of Arc. If you want to play sand volleyball, drive to the back parking lot behind the church and you should be able to see the court from the parking lot. I took an arial shot of the church and circled the volleyball court for your convenience.
In general, if you want to find details for summer Fatima things but you can't find this email, please look at the Fatima Young Adult Facebook Page.
